Vega® Helmet Warranty Policy

Warranty Period
Vega® provides a 1-year limited warranty on all helmets against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

What Does the Warranty Cover?
If a manufacturing defect covered by this limited warranty is detected within 1 year from the date of purchase, Vega® shall repair or replace the defective product through its distribution network after the defect has been verified.

Vega® shall supply all material and labor deemed reasonably necessary to remedy the reported defect unless the damage falls within the limitations of warranty listed below.

Limitations of Warranty
The warranty does not cover the following:

• Damage caused due to accidents or falls
• Physical damage of any kind
• Any user customization or modifications including paints, glues, adhesives, screws, drilling, or technical modifications
• Exposure to harmful chemicals (including the use of methylated spirits on visor treatments)
• Exposure to intense heat sources
• Damage due to lack of maintenance or poor care
• Change or damage to inner cushions due to usage or poor cleanliness
• Abnormal usage conditions such as underwater usage
• Paint fading or color degradation due to prolonged sunlight or UV exposure
• Paint damage due to regular usage
• Aging, cracks, or damage to inner fabrics or liners due to usage
• Water damage to inner fabrics
• Detachment of helmet beading due to usage
• Scratches and marks on visor and external parts
• Damage to UV coating on the visor due to usage
• Color chipping on EPS (Expanded Polystyrene)
• Helmet spares including visors, visor fittings, spoilers, cheek padding, peak, and jaw components
• Wear and tear, misuse, mishandling, neglect, or unauthorized repairs

Open-Face Helmet Disclaimer
Open-face helmets are designed only for head protection and do not provide full-face coverage. Vega® shall not be liable for any facial injuries sustained during an accident while using an open-face helmet.

Non-Covered Subjective Concerns
The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered under warranty:
• Comfort
• Fit or size issues
• Wind noise or whistling noise
• Padding noise
• Aerodynamics

Cosmetic Damage Disclaimer
Vega® makes every effort to supply quality-finished products. However, due to market conditions, minor cosmetic damage may occur at reseller outlets. Such cosmetic damage is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered under warranty. Customers are advised to inspect the product thoroughly at the time of purchase. Vega® is not responsible for cosmetic damage found after purchase.

How to Claim Warranty

  1. Register the claim by visiting:
    https://vega.genuinemark.org/

  2. A valid tax invoice issued by an authorized reseller or dealer is mandatory.

  3. To initiate a claim, contact the authorized reseller/dealer or email:
    customercare@vegaauto.com

  4. Provide the following for verification:
    • Clear images and video of the damaged product
    • Copy of the purchase invoice

  5. Carefully pack the helmet and affix the delivery address label clearly on the package before dispatch.

Warranty Claim Process

• Based on the images shared, Vega® will notify via email if the product is eligible for repair
• A claim is considered valid only after the product is received at Vega®’s facility
• The Quality Team will inspect the product to verify the manufacturing defect
• If repair is possible, the repaired product will be shipped back
• Replacement will be provided only if repair is not feasible

Additional Limitations

• Products purchased under promotional offers are not covered under warranty
• Claims without a valid invoice will not be accepted
• The company’s liability is limited strictly to repair or replacement
• Vega® reserves the right to reject any claim at its discretion
• Products repaired or replaced under warranty are not refundable
